Turning off the seatbelt confirmation.

Whenever I start the car, I get a graphic showing me that I am strapped in which is nice to know. I have to acknowledge it with the OK button before anything else comes up on the dash display and have not yet found where in the menu system the "Turn this maddening and unnecessary feature OFF" button is. Does everybody have to put up with it or does anybody have a clue how to avoid it, please?

Keep driving and it will clear itself.

It's a legal requirement for the car to get type approval, so no way to turn it off.

Mine takes ages to go off on it's own and as I like to use the digital mph display I find it better to just hit OK as part of my start up routine.

Think I may need to invent some electronics to simulate an ok after five seconds!

Done. I shall fit it once I have done the other things like fitting an RVC, updating the nav and beating a functional second key out of the dealer.

The spare wheel and jack kit arrived today. That completes the car.

Glad you have a spare wheel.   That latex blow up kit is not only useless it's ruddy dangerous.
