Electric wing mirrors not working neither is driver side window

Featured Replies

Hello,

I recently went to adjust my electric wing mirrors in my Ford Fiesta and as they were moving the electrics stopped working. Since, I cannot get them to work and the driver electric door also won't work. Halfords did a test on the fuse and found that every time the wing mirror switch is used, it blows the fuse. Does anyone know why this could be happening?

Not to say this is the same issue for you, however my wing mirrors stopped working due to water damage. The case that went around the wing mirror had disconnected from the clips allowing water to get whenever it was raining or if I took it to the car wash.

my left mirror works like a charm, however as soon as I adjust the right side The fuse goes. Replacing the fuse leads me back to square 1

I would be looking for a pair of wires in the flexible part between the door and the body. There is a short there.
