Just a thought I had while I saw the annoying Autoglass advert earlier (I hate catchy jingles)

Will the heated windscreen be okay with the special resin for chips? And surely if the screen needs replacing you'd have no choice but to go to Ford for it?

    No, all windscreen companies worth a penny will have the heated screens and solar reflect in stock :)

    They fixed the wifes old screen with heated element, they also did my ST too

    They did the heated screen in my last fiesta too with that resin. Was still fine afterwards!

    Resin repairs dont impact on the quickclear heated screen at all and as for a new screen, all major repairers have them and fit them for you, same excess on insurance if its heated or not B)
