Does anybody know what this is?

It has a tiny Ford logo and I found it in the glove box when I collected the car. Seat runner finisher just popped into my mind.

It is indeed a seat rail end cap.

Thanks Stoney. S'pose I'd better put it back then, now I know where to look!

The little beggars get kicked off quite easily and like you found they get shoved in a glovebox or door pocket as it's not obvious where they come from.

Clipped back on so easily that I am sure that they need a bit of help to stay put. A dot of RTV  will stop them coming off until intended. On the list.
