I would like to be able to identirfy which of these transmissions is fitted to any Mondeo that I might be interested in.  I have read somewhere that Etis is a website that could help but I couldn't get anywhere with just a reg number.

I did read somewhere that models up to 2010 are likely to have a TC 'box as opposed to the double-clutch one. Many cars are advertised as Powershift but I think that may be errors by the sales departments. So I am keen to check whether a car has Aisin as opposed to the Jatco TC, which I understand could be problematic. The Aisin in my Saab is super smooth and I would really like a Mondeo with all the toys and a transmission that I would be happy with.
