Difference between MK 7.5 and MK7 intrstument cluster connections?

Hey all,

I wanted to upgrade my instrument cluster from a basic MK 7 2009 to a MK 7.5.

My main issue is the connections, i have only one connection on my current instrument cluster whereas the MK 7.5 has two, does anyone know why there was a change? and what these do?

    No idea but even your one connector on the car won't fit the mk7.5. so it doesnt  really matter what the other plug does unless your going to rewire the car.
