Stereo display screen - MK7 red to blue

Featured Replies

Hi

I am wanting to put a gloss black post facelift (2012) radio control on my 2011 fiesta, basically change the silver radio fascia and buttons with black gloss. As this is coming from a newer car, the backlighting will be blue as opposed to the current red.

Is there anyway to change the radio display to blue to match the blue backlighting on the radio?

I know the whole interior is red so might not match but I think this might be smarter and wondering if it is even possible.

I’m not overly mechanically minded so hoping to get a newer screen and plug and play if possible?

Thanks in advance.

It's not possible to just plug in the facelift screen. You'll just get a Ford audio screen when you turn it on. You can either fit the Sony screen from the pfl (which is white/grey instead of red).

Thank you for your reply! Good to know.

Would the Sony screen be plug and play or would it need further work? Thanks.

Plug and play afaik

Okay I'll see if I can get my hands on a Sony PFL screen but at the moment proving quite difficult. Thank you.
