Key-less locking - strange behaviour after update

Featured Replies

I have a Fiesta Titanium 2015 Auto. We've had a "recall" late last year, I am not sure if it affects all cars in all countries. They've discovered if you use a metal tool, and jam it up they key hole in the boot, then it shorts out the locks and it will open all doors, including the boot - without upsetting the alarm. This update does not fix that, however when this is attempted it will at least not bypass the alarm system, so that will now sound.

Now thanks to Google, which landed me up on your site, my problem with my one-touch windows should be sorted this afternoon, one of the threads discussed that issue in depth. (windows can go up and down, but a long/hard press won't drop/close the window completely)

Now, I live in a country where they run amok. I refuse to use my keys to lock my car as they have even figured out how to record and jam that - that means you lock your car and as you walk away they play the same signal back, effectively unlocking your car again. Free loot...

Right now if I use the button on my car handle to lock the car, the lights flash, and it seems to rather unlock all my door, where it used to lock all the doors, whilst closing my mirrors. I have now forgotten my car open for this reason twice already.

Do I get used to this, or is there something that can be programmed in, as it was with the windows?
