Fiesta mk6 facelift new remote key problem

Hi, I searched the forum and the internet but I couldn't find an answer to my problem. I have Ford Fiesta from 2007 facelift with 2 original plain keys without buttons for remote lock/unlock. I purchased flip key with remote control abilities 433mhz with 4D63 transponder 40bit. When I turn the ignition on/off 4 times the car makes the sound and enters the programing mode, I believe that this means that the car has the ability to be locked/unlocked remotely but when I press a button from my new remote key during the programing process nothing happens, no sound. Is it necessary for me to already have working remote key to be able to program a new one? or I ordered wrong key?
