Hello does anyone know the life span of this engine?

As long as a piece of string.

182 months or 154,000 miles.  They all immediately spontaneously combust at that point.

Handy tip: when it gets to 153,999 miles, stop the car and look under the dash. There's a small toggle switch - move it from the "normal" position to the "extra" position, and you can continue driving.

On a more serious note, it really depends on how the car has been maintained / used. I once had one that was regularly serviced and mainly used for motorway driving. I replaced the car at around 160k. The engine was fine, but the suspension was showing its age.

The suspension would wear out before the engine.
