CraigJ123
The most rediculous button ever? An absolute nightmare to figure out, especially at 50mph聽馃槻
TomsFocus
It's the same as every other mirror switch?聽 Twist left or right then push the joystick in the direction of movement?聽 Press to fold? (PS - You should set the mirrors before moving off聽聽) 聽 If you want a ridiculous switch, you should try a Golf...the mirror heating function is on the twist control...so you can either adjust the mirrors or heat them, but not both at the same time...聽 Also, if you're heating the mirrors, that stops the reverse dip function!聽 First world problem, I know. 聽
CraigJ123
I somehow managed to get them pointing low when reversing onto ramps to fix the heatshield (well try to) managed to get it secure but car still rattling now squeaking from the driver side somewhere!). It was only when I was joining the dual carriageway I realised I couldn't view the road. Lesson learned hopefully. Had a 07 focus previously whick had separate and much simpler controls from what i recall.
TomsFocus
Yeah, good point,聽the Focus uses聽a more modern design but I wasn't a fan of that either myself.聽 Had a tiny 'flip' switch in the centre of the dial to swap between the mirrors then buttons for adjustment.聽 I prefer the joystick...guess it's like an Xbox game lol. Bobr
As Tom pointed out, it's never a good idea to adjust the mirrors (or anything else) while you're driving.聽 聽Could easily cause an accident a your concentration is not on the road.
