Morning,

Having noticed I had a low beam failure, I have gone to replace the bulb today, but the light still does not come on. I've had no fault messages appear on the dash either. I have a wriggle of the cable to see if there's a dodgy wire but theres nothing there. Could anyone offer some advice as to what it could be the cause?

Thanks.

Jp

is there a separate fuse for each low beam, because the passenger side works.

@pragmatix

Would you know which fuse it would be, as the manual doesn't state which fuse controls the lamps.

There are no fuses on the individual lamps. The body control module controls the feeds to the lamps. When a bulb fails the feed to that bulb is turned off. Putting a replacement bulb in and switching lights on normally gets the feed switched on again. Was the old bulb blown/ faulty.

I haven't checked tbh Iantt. I just put a new bulb in and didn't work, I didn't cycle the lights on and off, but I cycled the engine on and off.

Was in the garage today replacing the rear discs and pads, I mentioned the bulb not working. Was told the bulb I had bought was faulty and the bulb was replaced.
