2008 Ford Fiesta Not starting and instrument cluster delay

Hello, hoping someone can help. My fiesta is having a strange problem when trying to start. It does not start first time and the immobiliser light will flash several times with a beep. After several attempts to start the car will finally tick over but with a delay to the radio noise coming through the Speakers and with delays from the instrument cluster. Basically there is a 10 to 20 second delay before this all works normally.

Has anyone experienced this type of issue before and if so would you be able to advise on the possible causes?

I really appreciate any advice on this.
