Duratec 2L Diesel engine 2006

Featured Replies

Hi guys
Duratec 2L Diesel engine 2006

Is this engine used in newer models. Ie 2008. Onwards

Duratec is petrol.  Duratorq is diesel.

Both are just branding though and don't relate to a specific engine.

You're going to have to be more specific about which power level and which car model so we can work out which engine it is.

His profile is MK3 Mondeo , so it will be the old chain drive rattley diesel of that age. That engine was no longer used in the later MK4 Mondeo or other models
