D3S Bulb

Featured Replies

Which one do you recommend for my Ford Focus MK3? I think it uses d3s bulbs with ballast https://xenons4u.co.uk/philips-d3s-xenon-bulb.html or https://xenons4u.co.uk/hid-d3s-xenon-bulbs.html

I am looking for cool white colour, did anybody ever shop from here?

Will be thankful for your advice.

Does your car have factory xenons?

You need to look at a colour temperature around 6000k for a cool white. The one you linked is 4300k which is more of a warm white (I believe 4300k is the factory xenon colour temp).

Be aware that opting for a whiter/bluer tint can reduce visibility in rain or fog. Fortunately it never rains in the UK, so that's fine.

If it's more light you're after then the Osram Nightbreaker Lasers are expensive but offer more light, however the design of the Focus Mk3 headlight isn't the best. Even with the Nightbreaker bulbs the Focus headlights don't seem to throw as much light on the road compared with other Xenon headlights.
