USB Looms

Featured Replies

Hi All

After some advice. I am using Lockdown 2 to crack on with finishing the last few bits on my list for my mk2 Titanium. I have fitted a mk2.5 centre console with the USB and AUX socket in the armrest and a Bluetooth/USB module. The problem I have is linking them up. The Bluetooth module has a lead with a micro USB at each end (AV4T-14D202-CB) however the Armrest has a special Ford USB (8M5T-14D202-AB). Is there any lead that I can use to connect these? Or a newer USB socket that uses a micro USB instead of the Ford one?

Hi,

Did you manage to solve this issue?

I don't think you'll get a reply as the OP hasn't been on here since April 2022.

I’ve connected a standard USB cable to the armrest USB socket to feed to aftermarket head unit, can’t remember exact details now as it was some years ago but wasn’t complicated. Maybe just needed a female instead of male USB
