2014 ST180 sensor issue

Featured Replies

Morning!

I have a semi/Permanent intermittent problem, it can happen any time under any speed mainly under load but can do it just cruising along too.

The car starts jerking then all of a sudden the Rev counter stops working, traction control light comes up and it runs like it’s dropped a cylinder. I turn the car off and on again and it runs fine, I’ve had to do this down the motorway and all sorts.

I’ve  plugged it in a number of times the first time I was told cam sensor so I changed both, I took it to where my dad works and then we saw it was crank sensor so changed that.

Still having the same problem I took to where my friend worked (was chucking it on the ramp to service) and I got the car to jerk and go this state that it goes into and plugged it in wile it was like it, it’s was telling me engine lock sensors.

I’ve replaced both of them and now for some reason I’ve lost all boost and the cars running like a bag of nails. it’s now throwing up sensor 2 performance, think it was CPK sensor too. Has anyone experienced this before or have any clues as to what the answer is?

thanks in advanced, Nathan
