Sorry should of said 68 plate car 8000 miles from new

Welcome to owning a fiesta, I also seem to have recently developed a rattle on the passenger side, (possibly the dash / A-post area) almost 10,000 miles seems to come part and parcel with owning a Ford 🤣

Isn't it something to do with heater pipes going through bulkhead solved by a tie wrap can't find thread.

Well i spent a good few hours on this yesterday, took the engine under tray off again checked everything found nothing ,plastic underfloor panels seemed a little lose so tighten when up ,checked everything under the car nothing, now there is a plastic filled bag inside the wing factory fit but does seem to move about and makes a nosie so have placed a large sponge in the to stop any movement, if thats the problem will fit it bagged up so doesn't hold water ,will check heater pipes

I think it was related to the mk8 ecoboost fiesta only, and by the way, you don't to use the tie wrap anymore, ford knows about it , they got TSB for it, here in Egypt they replaced what they call ( O- rings ) for those heater pipes according to the TSB, and the problem gone away forever 🙂
