Hi

Noticed since the V9 maps update this week, when I get in car start engine its a good 30 seconds before my map populates the screen, I.e. just the red position pointer, and slooooowwwly the map streets start to appear.

Tried zooming out but no different

Total time 30 seconds, with sync 3 spinning wheel at beginning.

Is this normal?

Mine has always done this, perfectly normal.

Mine was like this when it first updated, but it’s got quicker over time.

Thanks mate, funnily enough I took the car out today and like you said its much better now  I guess it reindexes somehow similar to the audio

I noticed Sync maps can be quite slow too if you haven’t used your car a for a little while. I don’t think the cold temps do it many favours either.
