Yes video works this time, afraid it sounds like big ends or broken / seized tappet(s) - does the noise come from top of engine or bottom.

How many miles it done.

I would stop driving it needs work done ASAP not cheap keep driving and you will need a new engine.

Tappets easier to fix and check by taking rocker cover off.

If big ends go it will put a hole through your block and piston possibly bend valves = Scrap engine.

sorry mate long shifts going on haha ive not driven it since i started to hear it a few months ago just havent had the time or money to look into it, its done 120k. i like the sound of the tappets i shall get that checked first and pray its those.if not looks like im going to have to dive abit deeper into the engine and find out cheers for the help and i will come back with any progress made.

fingers crossed hopefully find out at the weekend

At that milage i would change cam belt/chain cus the last thing you want is it to snap/slip after fixing car. Unless you have proof its been done at 100k/10 years.
