2007 1.4 ford fiesta

Featured Replies

Hi all, so I'm being given a 2007 black ford fiesta 1.4 zetec engine and was wondering if anyone can advise me on whether these cars are any good or what to look out for ect. She has been stood for nearly a year and no mot or tax or insurance. Has roughly 60,000 on the clock.

Any advice would be great, I've only ever had french clio's from 1999-2003. I was also wondering if this car is belt driven or chain driven?

Thanks All

Think they are belt. If standing for a year brakes will definitely need look at. Best thing to do is take it for MOT see what it fails on so you will know exactly what needs doings. Cars tend to deteriorate quicker when not in use. probably perished rubber pipes bushes and tyres too exhaust pipes can take a hammering as the baffles break up.
