Upgrade cyanlabs

Featured Replies

Hi there I have a 2017 focus st line and noticed a few people have been using cyanlabs to update to sync version 3.4.
is it perfectly safe to use cyanlabs for updates and does anyone recommend using them or is it not with the hassle? I look forward to all your comments

Used it to upgrade my Mondeo from Sync 3.0 to Sync 3.4. Upgrading was painless and completely automated although it took about an hour. No issues during or after the upgrade for me, but as they say on the site it is at your own risk. If you do decide to go ahead, make sure you use the latest version of their Syn3 Updater download tool, and follow the directions on the site (which might not be what the Sync unit says!).
