Hi guus, please help me. No service places including Ford in my town can assist me or seem to be able to even identify the problem. I drive a 2013 mk7 fiesta 1.6 tdci econetic with a 121 000 km's on the clock. As soon as I reach any speed in my final drive manual 5th gear the car starts to stutter as if its running lean or has a low pressure issue on the fuel pump, i changed all filters on the car, new oil, drained new oil and then refilled again with oil, checked all sensors, had the car at 7 different places with 2 different ford garages/ service stations checking the car on diagnosics and everything. No luck.

Has anyone checked/cleaned/replaced the EGR valve?

Hi the egr valve was cleaned and checked, Daly ford in Klerksdorp cant find anything wrong they suspect the injectors but im not sure as the fault is only in 5th gear when starting to cruise,  injectors are being removed to be tested, diesel filter was replaced and tank cleaned aswell, 

sending injectors to be tested if injectors have no problem would it be a good idea to decat and remap the vehicle or would anyone reccomend anything else?

Had the same issue on my 2009 econetic and would get worse until an engine light came on and car became under powered, it was the egr that needed replaced been fine since, if your doing short journeys it will clog quite quickly,
