Hi I’m new to the site so thanks in advance for any help, I just got my self a 61 plate fusion 1.4 tdci the car starts and drives ok but it sounds like it’s got a knackered timing chain which it obviously doesn’t have, and when driving if I turn left or right drop down to second gear the car sort of bunny hops if I put my foot down it drives better again, I’ve had a friend plug in his diagnostic computer into the car ( he has a work shop so the machine is expensive ) there’s no codes stored so any ideas thanks again, I should say that sometimes like before all of a sudden it sounds quiet and drives smooth.
