Fiesta Zetec Climate 2007 stereo replacement

Featured Replies

I'm looking to get my son a new stereo for Christmas for his Fiesta Zetec Climate 2007.  Pic is not his car but same set up.  I was hoping you guys could help me double check a few things before buying as we don't have the car here as he hasn't passed his test yet, so I can't check.

If I buy him a normal size stereo I presume we would need a fascia plate?

If I was to buy one of the double din stereos would it fit without a fascia plate?

Lastly, I presume I will need to buy a Fiesta Zetec adapter for the steering column controls, is this a generic adapter or will the adapter vary based on the stereo model.

Is there anything else I need to consider with regards to fitting?

Thanks in advance for any help x

Yes you need the fascia adapter to fit a double din unit.

If you get a decent wiring adapter and canbus controller then the steering controls should still work.
