Slow flicker headlight.

Featured Replies

My front passenger headlight has a slow, dull flicker when the car is parked and locked. None of the other lights are doing anything. When I start the car the headlight bulb can be turned on to full but then when turned off again it does the low flicker. Anyone had this?

Are they factory fitted bulbs or led's and same brightness either side?

Does light only flicker when lights have just been turned off or constantly when left parked?

Is it main beam/dipped or daytime running lights?

Original factory fitted main beam light. Light does slow blink when parked and locked. It had been standing for a few days when I noticed it. Car had probably not been used for about a week. When I went to be start it, the battery sounded really low so I think it’s been doing it for a while.

could be to do with central locking. Some cars blink when locking car to let the owner know its locked. Parking with high beam on? dip them see if it still happens.

Ok thanks.

Gave car a run out with lights on full. Stopped and locked and the issue has gone. I’m hoping it’s just a bit of damp causing a temporary short. I’ll monitor.
