Heating Problems

Featured Replies

Hi,

When I go to turn on the heating in my car it seems to blow out cold air unless it is on full blast in which case it seems to blow out slightly high temperatures but these are still cold (this is all while showing "Hi" on the temperature screen). I took this to the garage and they suggested taking this to ford as they couldn't fix it. They did state it seems to get up to arround 22 degrees then just stop there. Does anyone know what it could be?

Sounds like it could be the interior temperature sensor at fault. You should be able to get the live data if you plug into the obd2 port with a decent scanner (preferably a modified Elm327 and Forscan on a laptop).

Alternatively have a look at this topic about the heater actuators for climate control.
