2009 focus 1.8tdci no fault codes but engine keeps cutting

Featured Replies

Hi all,

The time has come where I'm clutching at straws, I have a 2009 1.8tdci ford focus. Drives perfectly for around 20km and then cuts out instantly like I've taken the key out, the revs come down regardless of throttle position until it grounds to a halt. I have eliminated crankshaft sensor issue and / or battery alternator. There is fuel getting to all injectors with pressure. There is no fault codes when scanned with no illuminated dash. A full service has been carried out with fuel system bled etc, it also idle's fine and when it is running is perfect, pulls well and revs through. When it does cut out if you keep cranking it might finally go but if you can beat it before the battery goes flat its a floor it and give it hell moment, I have taken all relays / fuses out also and all was clean and dry with no residue what so ever. Any help would be much appreciated!
