Then wondered if you can help me, does the blade part have a transponder chip in it ?, i.e is there something missing in this picture

your missing the buttons there is another bit and then followed by another plasitc bit which has the key attached to it . I THINK this is right going on the pictures in the manual . but i cannot be sure

No, and strangely i now dont have any pm's at all !!!

The chip is usually in the remote section
