Rattle when idling 2008 fiesta 1.4tdci

I have a ford fiesta 2008 1.4 tdci. When the car is idling there is a rattle for the gearbox. When u press down on the clutch it does away. Car goes into gear and drives perfect.

    Sounds like clutch release bearing is on its way out. If you're having the bearing changed it would be silly not to change the clutch at the same time seen as the gearbox will have to be removed regardless.

    Usually a bad flywheel is also noticeable no matter what position the clutch is in.
