My engine management light popped on the other day and not long after the ba k box fell off

    No but it's possible you've damaged the wiring for an o2 sensor in the process.

    You need to read the codes and come back. It's a complete stab in the dark otherwise.

    Have you cleaned the water out? Or taken the spark plug out and inspected it?

    Maybe try swap it and the lead with another cylinder see if the misfire moves.
