Help Sony head unit

Featured Replies

Ok picked up a Sony head unit with the ‘colour’ screen for my 7.5 (this is non sat nav screen)

I previously had the all blue screen with BT

1st problem- doing a station scan it seems I can only find 2 FM stations(Radio 1 and BBC Radio Kent) - but 1-4 is preprogrammed with BBC 1-4 and they work but I was looking to add some local station - am I doing something wrong?

2 -it’s Dab - no dab but I presume I need to enable this via forscan ( my car has both aerials connected)

3 when I open the door instead to leave I get  kind of ‘ blurred’ squares (should this be the Ford logo-do I need change the display via for scan

im pleased but really like to sort theses few issues out

thanks in advance

See my topic I made a couple years ago. Couple posts down i show the forscan option. Hopefully doing this may fix your other issues.

If you are doing any changes with FORScan you are best to have a charger connected to your battery.

Ok thanks for the help

update

have enabled the Dab and get a great reception

im unable to cure the screen above - going into ‘Touchscreen’ settings

I have changed it from 3 (something ) 4 something colour screen but it still shows the blurred screen on shut down and start up

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

im sure someone must have done this before - the error just seems to be with the start up / close down splash screen

The error your on about looks like this picture? This looks like the normal screen to me, I've seen it on quite a few cars when the radio is off etc.

As long as the radio functions as expected and the screen works fine when turned on, i wouldn't worry about it.
