Indicator issue

Featured Replies

My front near side indicator is on constantly, not flashing, even when I lock the car? Any ideas please, new to these cars. Fiesta Mk7.5 ZS

Possible relay fault, cheap enough to buy from halfords, etc

It's been to the garage today and they said possible BCM fault? He said if it was the relay then all that side would play up?

Happened as I was driving, indicated left and the dash only flashed once and when I parked up the indicator was stuck on

Ah sorry didn't read correctly that it was just the front 😞

Could be the cold weather as it seems to affect electronics in modern cars (window motors in MK8s for example)

My last MK8 had done 900 miles and was in the garage 8 times in a month due to electrical problems - EML kept popping up and car going into limp mode. They replaced O2 sensor twice, BCM, ECU, part of wiring loom and something else? - got rid of car at 1100 miles as it was so unreliable - got another now 🙄

Not sure what's going on with it, even tried disconnecting the battery for a while just incase that helped but it didn't, as soon as I connect the bulb, the indicator is still on
