Hi all! I'm new around here and to the Ford world, currently driving a MK7 Ford Fiesta (2017,  new shape) which I have had for around 6-7 months.
I'm looking to get a Reverse Camera installed, bought used so the car only came with Rear Parking Sensors, so contacted Halfords about the below:

At the time I was under the impression that this camera fits and integrates with the software on my vehicle, however upon inspection today this is not the case.
The fitter basically tried to tell me that he couldn't do it because Ford wont give him access to the correct software, however on other forums I have read about a program called ForScan so I'm unsure as to why he doesn't have access. From the vibe I got it sounded like he couldn't be bothered too be honest.

I'm not sure what else to do, does anyone know of any other options?
Trying to stay away from the whole extra monitor unit which he also tried to sell me.

I have a 2017 with a reverse camera so the wiring is probably already there.

Any idea how I can check this?

I can put you a photo on showing where the camera is positioned.   I'll do it tomorrow if it ever stops raining.

This shows the position of the reversing camera on my car.

Also raining here so eventually when it stops I can open up the boot and take a look where the wires are
