Car in limp mode, no indication of fault on display

Featured Replies

Hi All

MY wife`s car is in permanent limp mode.

I have checked it on a diagnostic scanner and have the following faults.

  1. Sensor Reference  Voltage A Circuit Range/Performance
  2. Throttle Actuator Control System - Low Airflow Detected
  3. Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control A Performance.

My mate had the same issue and took it to a garage which cost him £1000 to have a couple of pumps changed and he still has the same issue, he was quoted another £1000 for a turbo.

I am looking at fixing it myself and was wondering if anyone else had the same issue/codes and knows what the problem is?

Cheers

check if you have any boost leaks, that will usually cause the 2nd code
