Hi all, anyone know if it’s possible to program the MK8 fiesta to not turn on like a Christmas tree when you unlock it? Both internal and external lights all turn on which is very intrusive when you just want to get in quietly and leave.

i think it might be called police mode or something?

I haven't looked but usually there's a switch above the interior mirror to switch the interior light on/ on with doors open/ off

I can see how it might annoy some people.. The Mk8's daytime running lights are some of the brightest i've seen on the road.. You can see a Fiesta approaching a mile away especially with the full ring around the light style they have

I've been flashed twice during the early evening by people presumably thinking I have my high beam on lol

Only had the car 3 weeks!

 

here in Egypt we don't have the daytime running light regulation, I find my self only me in my fiesta on the street that has its lights ON during day time, people think I turned on the lights by fault, they keep telling me on the street ( your lights are ON , I say " thank you " ) 😄 and thats how it goes on every morning trip ( the lights - thank you 😄  😄 ) 

people here in Egypt like to help each other, but in my case I prefer to kill my self over driving during the day 😄
