Replacement Front Bumper

Featured Replies

Hi all,

My Fiesta Ecoboost has been reversed into while parked, causing a crack in the front bumper near the headlight. Have received a couple of quotes for a front bumper replacement but these are touching £1,000, which seems excessive. The bumper itself is apparently costing over £500.

Just wanted to check if anyone else had a similar issue and what sort of ball park a replacement hit for that. I’m in no position to replace it myself etc,

Cheers

Im assuming they're quoting for brand new genuine Ford panels at that price? You can get aftermarket bumpers that are decent quality for less than half that price, I've fitted a couple on a mk7.5 and couldn't really tell the quality difference.

I'd be quoting at £400-500 ish depending on how much you have to fiddle with panel gaps, blending etc.

New bumpers from ford come painted and aren’t that difficult to fit yourself.
