Mot Fail Or Not?

fiesta is due an MOT on the 25th of this month, when i was cleaning the front brakes i noticed the rubbers on the balljoints had gone but there is no play in the balljoint would it fail it's mot on them or not?

    not a fail as long as theres no play....beware though if they have split the gease will get out and they will fail in the future.

    are the wishbones on the fiesta mk6 like old ford ones where the balljoints are just held in by large rivets that can be drilled out?
