Loose windscreen corner mouldings

Not sure what these do - prevent things getting into the engine or just make the edge of the windscreen look tidy? - but mine are a little loose and I'm concerned they could come away at speed or in a carwash. Anyone had to deal with this?

The long bit of plastic there holds them in, but it's not super-snug and I'm not satisfied. I tried to superglue them in, but with the car kept outside that lasted about 5 minutes.
