Bonnet/Hood Won't open

Hi all, I need some help and advice regarding the bonnet release on my 2009 Fiesta. I recently attempted to open my bonnet, but as I pulled the lever nothing happened. The lever has no resistance now. I could see the cable is still connected to the lever so it sounds like it has broken at the catch end, so my problem is how to open my bonnet from the outside. I have tried removing the front grill and cannot see a way/how to open it that way and there is no access from underneath. Any advise would be very much appreciated.
