Mileage increases erratic

Featured Replies

Hi all I wondered if any one could help me I’ve a Ford Focus 1.6 tdci, mk3 2011. The problem I’m getting is the traction control, abs, and handbrake light is on and the mileage is erratic for example if I travel 2 miles the car reads 70 miles. I’m very frustrated I’ve had the clocks tested by atp in Cannock and there ok. But the fault is intermittent. I’m based in Stafford if any one can help me or point me in the right direction I’d be very grateful. It’s even a new one on hodsons Ford in penkridge. Thank you all

regards sean.

Oh the speedo is working fine also.

You need to get the codes read which are triggering the ABS, traction control lights, etc.

It's probably something like a wheel rotation sensor.
