2014 Fiesta Battery Drain

Featured Replies

Hi, please help - 2014 Fiesta had 4 new batteries in 2 years -  constantly losing charge. Been to my local mechanic and he says he can't find the problem.. it has a colour screen and sony media system. Read that it might need the software updating? Also, Ford retro-fitted parking sensors when I bought it.. See below versions of Sync system.. Any thoughts on a fix for this?

You cant just guess at it being the head unit at fault. You need to do a parasitic draw test using a multimeter. Then start pulling fuses 1 by 1 until the draw goes away.
