Hi everyone, I recently part exed my 1.25 Ford Fiesta for the 1.0 ecoboost 140, seen as I payed a lot for it and it was through Bristol street motors I assumed the car I bought would be near on spot on. However I have been hearing lots of different knocks from underneath the car. I assumed the knock I heard on the front left was a drop link. I sent it to the dealership I bought it from and apparently it was the exhaust knocking so they ‘fixed’ it. Now I am hearing more and more knocks and bangs. Has anyone had this problem? If so what was it? I will be taking it back to the dealership in a few days. For an £8000 car, I didn’t expect it to make these sort of noises! 

Fords make lots of knocks and bangs, however none of them are supposed to happen. We can't tell you where they're coming from though, you'll have to jack it up and use a rattle finder and a pry bar to locate where it's coming from.
