avpinstarter Posted March 9, 2021 Share Posted March 9, 2021 Could any one please tell me what is the correct expansion tank cap for a mk3 mondeo petrol 1.8 The original one's details have worn off . I have googled my problem and i have a part no 98BB 8100 AB which is a cap with a pressure of 120 kpa how ever in the haynes manual it states the cap should be 124-145kpa the working pressure of the cooling system is 138kpa . The reason for my query is a small amount of coolant is being vented from the hole in the tank neck where i assume it releases pressure. I hope some kind soul can help me with this problem.
