Replacing Focus 2010 Sat Nav Blaupunkt with standard unit

Featured Replies

I have a Blaupunkt FX Sat Nav which is the same as the photo below on the left. Since getting the car in 2012 it's always been temperamental, repaired by the garage once, and after the last battery change seems to have given up the ghost.

Anyway my question is can the Sat Nav unit be replaced by for example the 6000CD unit shown on the right as a straight swap? Are all the connections at the back the same so that I can just swap them over?

Any advice would be really appreciated. I don't want to buy a 6000CD unit and then find you need to rewire the loom to fit it!
