Hi. I’m new to the site and wondering if anyone could help me. I have a 2009 plate fiesta Zetec s. I’ve had it for a year now and this whole time I didn’t realise it should have the bluetooth sync mode on it. I when I press phone on the dash it mutes the radio and the aux doesn’t work at all. I’ve spoke to ford and they said it should be installed on the car. Could it be the bluetooth module or something like that?
Thanks

your car wouldn't have sync, but it would have the prederssesor to it

What do you mean predecessor of sync? Nothing works on it at all

sounds like the bluetooth mudule is faulty, its the box under the glove box, also the reason i say predecessor is because sync was only introduced to the fiesta in the mk7 facelift where the first model year of the MK7.5 had sync 1.0, you just have a a ford radio with bluetooth (albeit not working bluetooth). on cars with sync the module under the glovebox is both the sync module and bluetooth module, in non sync cars, its just the bluetooth module

Makes sense. Thanks for the help. I will try get hold of another module to try and see if that is definitely the problem. Cheers
