Hi, has anyone any ideas on why my internal thermometer is reading at 60 degrees. Any ideas on how to fix this ?

not had any work done on the car, it was just showing this temp when turned car on today.
Thanks.

I'm assuming you mean the ambient air temp? which is actually the outside temperature measured from a sensor located behind the front bumper. Is the reading high all the time? Even when the engine is cold? The sensor is positioned close to the radiator so will give a false reading if it starts touching it.

Otherwise I'd guess at a bad sensor

Is that 60C or 60F, your settings haven't somehow got changed to Fahrenheit ? just a thought as 60F is about 16C which in my part of the world is todays temp

Thanks everyone. Heres a pic of the temp in talking about.  Engine is normal/cold and not noticed anything else.

I would say looking at that, you have a faulty temprature sensor. An easy fix but a little difficult to reach as its mounted behind the front bumper, just uplugs and replacment plugs in without any drama
