Loose connections in engine bay

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've been trying for a month or two to get to the bottom of a turbo issue in my mk7 1.6tdci. Powertrain and check engine lights come on intermittently although with increasing frequency recently. Ive tried quite a few fuel additives like archoil and also the air intake sprays. Replaced the maf sensor to no avail. I drive on motorway every day with high revs so very little lugging on engine. Scan tool shows turbocharger signal above allowable range.

Today i had a look and found a loose connection and a split hose but cant for the life of me find where they fit. Can anyone help?

i would clean the pins on the plug in this pic (https://ibb.co/DM2zdMn) they are looking corroded, also have you had a look from under the car as it looks like a connection on the underside of the engine/ transmission
