Pizza247
Son bought a new car; gave hubby his Ford Fiesta. Ran fine. Got in today went to back up. Came across: hill climb mode not available. Brakes acted as though they were locked. He put it in park; turned car off. Now won’t even turn over. Any suggestions on what to look at? Neb_engineer
do you have the ability to read live data off the car, if so can you read what the MAF is telling the ECU while trying to crank?

Neb_engineer
Is that the only code he read, because a P0101 shouldn't cause a no crank?

TomsFocus
It does sound like a battery fault. Is it the correct battery? Are the terminals tight? What voltage is it showing?

Neb_engineer
are you sure there isn't any other codes aside from those two codes, as those two codes still wouldn't stop it from cranking, because p0101 is a MAF code, p0402 is an EGR related code
