1.0 ecoboost hmev noisy

Hi all

just noticed my new fiesta dmf seems to rattle when running.

but stops when clutch is pressed in!!

i cant see this being normal on a small petrol engine 😡🤯 only 70 miles on the clock.

i also got the new mhev fiesta and its not even on 200 miles yet.. I put a post up about it being very noisy the clutch having no feeling etc like no real bite ? and just got told its due to my driving

Does the idle rise when you press the clutch?  I'm not sure they even have a DMF, they do have a low idle for emissions though which can be felt inside.

The clutch is tiny which is why you can barely feel it, it's not like a diesel clutch that has to be heavy to hold the torque.

The rattle is probably the mhev alternator making a noise. Ive noticed a noise at slow speed that stops when dipping the clutch on these mhev cars.

Possible but rattle is coming from the gearbox not the pulleys 🤦‍♂️
